Tech giant, Fortinet, is the provider of network security devices and software and are expanding their headquarters to be a 4-storey, 172,000 sq. ft., state-of- the-art building, with the target of achieving LEED Gold certification. In order to manage tight deadlines, Fortinet Headquarters construction time has been reduced by using as pre-glazed unitized curtain wall along with precast concrete structural system manufactured offsite; allowing the company to move into the new building much earlier than if standard construction methods were applied. CGI is providing design assist services on this project and notable features include an ACM panel, customized sunshade solutions, metal panels, and fully operable windows to harness fresh air and lessen the night time cooling loads of the building.
