Located at Humber College’s North Campus, Building NX underwent a complete envelope retrofit that includes new triple-pane windows including fixed punched windows, operable windows and curtain wall system FW50 SI+ making it extremely insulated and airtight. The college achieved a design that uses 70 per cent less energy than before, making it Humber’s most energy-efficient building and as a result was awarded the Zero Carbon Building - Design certification by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).
